The Mags & Munchies Fall Product Program is easy, fun, and a great way to start off the Girl Scout year.

Through Girl Scouts of Nassau County’s Fall Product Program, girls learn valuable life and business skills as they become entrepreneurs! This fun and easy program allows troops to earn funds early in the Girl Scout year for Take Action projects, activities, supplies, events and so much more, while Girl Scouts have the opportunity to earn personalized patches with their avatar on them, and amazing rewards.

During the Fall Product Program (or Mags&Munchies), Girl Scouts offer family and friends the opportunity to purchase delicious nuts, snacks, chocolates, and various magazines. This year, Girl Scouts will also be able to sell tumblers, stationery, candles and dog toys/treats! (just in time for the holidays!)

Girl Scouts take the lead and decide how they want to participate: in person, online, or both!

By purchasing nuts, snacks, and magazines, families, and friends can support Girl Scout troops and Girl Scouting in our community.

Be a registered Troop Mags&Munchies Manager volunteer with GSNC (contact customercare@gsnc.org)
Sign the online Troop Mags&Munchies Manager Agreement Form and pick up troop materials:
- Troop Managers Manual
- Troop envelope

September 18:
• Email invitation sent to you and Troop Mags&Munchies Managers to access the M2 online system

September 25:
• Fall Product Program begins

October 2:
• Deadline for Troop Instant Bonus

November 1 by 11:59 pm
• Online and in-person order-taking ends
• Last day for caregivers to enter order card sales into the M2 system
• Deadline for all in-person order card payments to be given to troop

November 3 by 11:59 pm
• Troop Manager deadline to enter any order card sales that haven’t been previously entered by caregivers

November 5 by 11:59 pm
• SU Chair deadline to modify Girl Scout order card orders and rewards
• Deadline for rewards selection

November 19
• ACH withdrawal from troop bank account for balance due

Early December (estimated)
• Nuts/snacks delivered to Service Unit

January 2027
• Rewards delivered to Service Unit. Count and distribute to troops

Girl Scout Rewards and Troop Proceeds

All of the earnings from the Mags&Munchies program stay in Nassau County and troops earn proceeds while Girl Scouts earn rewards and patches. The Girl Scout reward items are featured on the nut order card. Troops earn up to 13% of all sales, and troops at the Junior level and up can earn higher proceeds (up to 18%) for their troop by electing to opt out of Girl Scout rewards. Your Troop Mags&Munchies Manager or leader can provide you with information about your troop’s rewards and proceeds selection.
