This April, we invite you to join us for GSNC’s 5th Annual Legacy Award Brunch as we celebrate extraordinary women who are making a lasting impact and leaving a powerful legacy for future leaders right here in Nassau County.

Proceeds from the Legacy Award Luncheon will support Girl Scouts of Nassau County, with a special focus on enhancing Camp Blue Bay programs, providing essential camp supplies, and expanding gifted campership opportunities so every girl has the chance to grow, explore, and lead.

Each year at our Legacy Brunch, we honor individuals who are paving the way for a positive future for girls and their families with the Legacy and Impact Awards. This year, we will also be recognizing an organization who has gone above and beyond in their support of Girl Scouts of Nassau County and championing girls in Nassau County with the Community Champion Award.

About Deanna Singh

Deanna is a sought-after speaker and trailblazer in the field of leadership excellence. As an expert executive strategist, she is obsessed with making the world more meaningfully connected, and she will build or break systems to create positive change. Her dynamic presence and inspirational messages energize audiences worldwide. She is a highly esteemed author, educator, and business leader who has dedicated her life to developing exceptional leaders.

As the Founder and Chief Change Agent of Flying Elephant, Deanna leads five social ventures that work towards creating positive impact. From education and healthcare to leadership development, to entrepreneurship, these ventures are united in their mission to build bridges. Deanna's impact extends beyond her ventures. She is also the author of six award-winning books, including Actions Speak Louder and Purposeful Hustle and the owner of the Uplifting Mansion. Deanna holds a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Studies from Fordham University, a Juris Doctorate from Georgetown University, and a Master's in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Schedule:

11:00 AM – Registration opens with Mingling, Mimosas & Light Bites in the Heritage Room
11:45 AM – Ballroom opens
12:15 PM – Program begins in the Ballroom

Raffle Information:
We’ll be offering both regular and premium raffle baskets:

Regular Raffle Baskets
- 1 sheet (25 tickets): $40
- 2 sheets: $75
- 3 sheets: $100
Premium Raffle Baskets (valued at $500+)
- 1 sheet (25 tickets): $150

Tickets must be placed in raffle bags by 1:30 PM. Winners will be announced at approximately 2:00 PM. You must be present to claim your prize. Cash, checks, and all major credit cards will be accepted.
