Operation Cookie & Hometown Heroes

Can't Eat Them? Treat Them!

Sending Girl Scout Cookies to U.S. Military Since 2005 and Hometown Heroes since 2020, thanks to the support of generous Long Islanders.

Each year, Girl Scouts selling cookies offer buyers the option to donate Girl Scout Cookies to our military troops overseas and local heroes through Operation Cookie/Hometown Heroes. And, each year, the result are awe-inspiring.

We need YOU to help us continue and expand this time-honored tradition.

To contribute cookies to our Operation Cookie/Hometown Heroes community donation program, reach out to a local Girl Scout during the 2026 Girl Scout Cookie season.

Operation Cookie Sendoff
Operation Cookie Sendoff

In 2025, GSNC and our partner DHL Express, shipped 62,142 boxes of GirlScout Cookies® to U.S. military personnel and Hometown Heroes.
