GSNC’s 2nd Annual Summerfest
IMPORTANT SUMMERFEST UPDATE: Summerfest 2025 Has Been Postponed Due to the Anticipated Inclement Weather.
With inclement weather forecasted for tomorrow, Girl Scouts of Nassau County, in partnership with the activity vendors, has made the tough decision to reschedule SummerFest to ensure the safety and well-being of our members, families, staff, and event vendors.
SummerFest has been rescheduled for Saturday, September 27, 2025—same place, same time—and will be called FallFest! It will be the same great celebration, just with a little Fall flair.
If you ordered a lunch box for tomorrow, your order WILL carry over to FallFest.
As Girl Scouts, we strive to help others at all times. To ensure the food that we already purchased for the event does not go to waste (including all the prepaid lunches), we will be donating all of food to Mary Brennan INN Soup Kitchen in Hempstead, to help feed those in need in our community.
We truly appreciate your understanding as we work to reschedule this celebration. We can’t wait to create a memorable FallFest together!

LOCATION: Wantagh Park, Wantagh, New York
PURPLE WRISTBANDS: Your new Girl Scout must wear her purple wristband for entry. Purple wristbands were handed out at the in-person renewal nights. If you did not renew during an in-peron renewal night, but still qualified for this incentive, you can pick up your Girl Scout's purple wristband from Girl Scouts of Nassau County's Service Center located in Garden City, NY during normal business hours. Wristbands will not be available for pickup from the GSNC Service Center on 6/14.
IMPORTANT:
- Only those who RSVPed will be admitted to the event.
- Your new Girl Scout must wear her purple wristband for entry. Purple wristbands were handed out at the in-person renewal nights. If you did not renew during an in-peron renewal night, but still qualified for this incentive, you can pick up your Girl Scout's purple wristband from Girl Scouts of Nassau County's Service Center located in Garden City, NY during normal business hours. Wristbands will not be available for pickup from the GSNC Service Center on 6/14.
- This is not a drop off event. An adult 18 years of age or older must stay with the Girl Scout. Your Girl Scout must be accompanied by at least one adult and may bring up to 3 additional guests (max 4 attendees total).
- Summerfest's rain date is September 27, 2025. Those who RSVPed will be notified the day before the event via email if this event is rescheduled.
