Mags&Munchies For Girl Scouts

The Mags&Munchies Fall Product Program is easy, fun, and a great way to start off the Girl Scout year.

Mags&Munchies is a financial literacy program that allows Girl Scouts to be entrepreneurs, offering family and friends the opportunity to purchase delicious nuts, snacks, chocolates, magazines, tumblers, scented candles, personalized stationery, and BarkBoxes —right in time for the holiday season! This skill-building program supports our community’s youngest entrepreneurs as they continue to make meaningful contributions to their communities, and develop the tools to become leaders.

Girl Scouts get to practice the five key entrepreneurial leadership skills—Goal Setting, Decision Making, People Skills, Money Management, and Business Ethics—before the Girl Scout Cookie season begins.

Girl Scouts earn unique patches and rewards, and troops earn funds early in the year for Take Action projects, activities, supplies, events, and more!
All funds stay local with some distributed as troop proceeds for troop activities and some to council to be used for programs, trainings, and financial assistance.
It’s easy and fun! Items can all be ordered online. Participants can build a customizable avatar of themselves through the Mags&Munchies website and earn a patch that is unique just to them!

What a Girl Scout Needs to Participate

A signed Caregiver Agreement Form on file with Girl Scout troop (or council if participating individually) and a Fall Product Program packet, which includes an order card and collection envelope.

Ways to Participate:

Online Sale: Girl Scouts will create an online account in the M2 System. The Girl Scout can invite friends and family to place an order. Customers can choose to have products shipped directly to them, or they can select from a group of nut and chocolate products that Girl Scouts can deliver. Girl Scout delivered items will be available for pick up from your Service Unit.
Order Card: In-person by taking orders using the order card and collecting payments door-to-door or from friends and family. These orders can easily be added to their online account.

• Email invitation sent to you and Troop Mags&Munchies Managers to access the M2 online system

September 25:
• Fall Product Program begins

October 2:
• Deadline for Troop Instant Bonus

November 1 by 11:59 pm
• Online and in-person order-taking ends
• Last day for care givers to enter order card sales into the M2 system
• Deadline for all in-person order card payments to be given to troop

November 3 by 11:59 pm
• Troop Manager deadline to enter any order card sales that haven’t been previously entered by care giver

November 5 by 11:59 pm
• SU Chair deadline to modify Girl Scout order card orders and rewards
• Deadline for rewards selection

November 19
• ACH withdrawal from troop bank account for balance due

Early December (estimated)
• Nuts/snacks delivered to Service Unit

January 2027
• Rewards delivered to Service Unit. Count and distribute to troops

Looking to learn and develop your entreprenurial skills? Here are skills to work on each week of the 2025 Mags&Munchies season.

Week 1: Goal Setting
Girl Scouts are Goal Getters! What will you be your goal this season? Use the goal chart on the Girl Scout/Family Mags&Munchies Dashboard on the OLC to track your progress!

Week 2: People Skills
Have you reached out to friends and family yet? This week try sending 10 emails, making 2 phone calls, and sharing your personalized link with 5 customers!

Week 3: Business Ethics
Being an entrepreneur requires honesty and responsibility! Learn about the different nut and snack products, so when you have a customer asking about ingredients and allergies, you have the right information to share.

Week 4: Money Management
Take out your Nut Order Card! Look at all the in-person orders you have taken and add up the total amount of money you will be collecting when you deliver the nuts and snacks to your customers. Keep track of the money collected in your Money Envelope.

Week 5: Decision Making
Time to decide! Did you sell 35+ Nuts/Snacks or have $600+ in combined sales? Decide on which reward you will choose at those levels and reflect your choice on the M2 system.
