Do you love being on camera, telling stories, or speaking in front of an audience? If so, the Media Girls program might be the perfect fit for you! We're looking for GSNC Girl Scouts of courage, confidence, and character to join our Media Girls unit. This exciting program gives Girl Scouts hands-on experience in developing communication skills by sharing the Girl Scout story while exploring today's fast-changing media landscape. Girls receive special media training that prepares them to report on council and community events and share stories with both the Girl Scout community and the world. Along the way, girls will strengthen their public speaking skills-an invaluable asset that will benefit them for years to come.
Location: GSNC Service Center, Garden City, NY
Important: This is NOT a drop-off event. Girl Scouts must be accompanied by an attending adult. No additional tag-alongs are permitted in the program.
