Adult Recognitions

Our Girl Scout volunteers have an enormous impact on the girls they mentor, motivate, and inspire. They are the everyday heroes and guides who introduce girls to new life-changing experiences and help them discover their passions. Girl Scout Volunteers make a meaningful difference in the world, and recognizing the outstanding impact of our volunteers is so important. A card from the girls, an email message from a parent, even a handmade gift are all wonderful ways to say “thank you” to the volunteers who make the Girl Scout experience so powerful.

Another great way to recognize that special Girl Scout Volunteer in your life who goes “above and beyond” is to nominate them for an Adult Award. GSUSA awards and Girl Scouts of Nassau County awards are intended for those volunteers who provide exemplary service.

The deadline for nominations is December 23, 2022.
