The safety and health of our campers and staff is always the highest priority at Camp Blue Bay. We will continue to adapt our COVID-19 policies in accordance with NYS guidelines, CDC guidance, and the Suffolk County Department of Health to provide the best and safest summer camp experience for our families. Please note either proof of COVID-19 vaccination and/or a negative COVID-19 test may be required to attend camp.
Camp is about making new friends, holding hands while skipping to your next activity, sitting close around the campfire singing your favorite camp songs, and getting packed into the dining hall for fun and food. These traditions contribute to the magic of camp – which will live on in our hearts until we can be together again!
Camp Blue Bay is a welcoming, safe space. At Camp Blue Bay we continue to focus on creating a community for all girls to thrive. Which is why we ask everyone to do their best to think, speak, and act in ways that ensure everyone at Camp Blue Bay feels they belong and can meaningfully participate in all aspects of Girl Scouting, regardless of ability, age, culture, education, ethnicity, gender, race, religion, sexual orientation, and socioeconomic status.
For more information please view our 2022 Camp Blue Bay Camp Brochure.
At Camp Blue Bay, girls can enjoy a diverse camping experience in which they can choose between Troop House Camping and Outdoor Tent Camping. Camp programs are available for one or two-week sessions. Girls will have the opportunity to participate in camp activities including swimming, boating, archery, crafts, nature, campfires, and more.
One of the experiences unique to Girl Scouting. Add the scenic beauty of Camp Blue Bay and you have the perfect setting to discover the wonders of nature. With the help of camp trained adults, girls might learn how to cook in a box oven, enjoy a nature walk, work on badges set in the great outdoors and so much more.
Beginning February 1, 2022, troops will be able to submit applications online for troop camping at Camp Blue Bay beginning March 15, 2022. Application information, availability charts, and outdoor training information will be available on our website on January 15, 2022.
