recently elected its Board of Directors Officers, Board of Directors
Members-at-Large, and Board Development Committee for the 2021-2023

leadership, innovation, and constant support to the Girl Scouts of
Nassau County.
"We are very grateful to have many of
our past Board of Directors join us for another term, and welcome
aboard several new members who we believe will make wonderful
additions," said Randell M. Bynum, CEO of Girl Scouts of Nassau
County. "This outstanding group of professionals will be
invaluable to our organization as we continue to improve the lives of
Girl Scouts in Nassau County."
Ms. DaSilva is the
assistant vice president of retail banking for Bethpage Federal Credit
Union, where she leads and directs all aspects of retail banking for
the seven branches that she manages. In addition, she supports the
empowerment of branch teams that foster an environment where employees
excel, and members receive memorable experiences.
In her nearly 20-year tenure at Bethpage Federal Credit Union, Ms.

and her focus has always been to ensure that employees and members are
a top priority, and that they are always looking for ways to enrich
their lives.
In 2019, she was selected for Bethpage
Federal Credit Union’s Enriching Lives Award and was recognized for
her participation in the local community. Ms. DaSilva has served on
the board of the Seaford Chamber of Commerce for six years. She is
also an advocate for their members and is always looking for ways to
make their experiences better. In addition, she was nominated for her
ability to recognize employees, promote growth and develop their
skills. Her goals are to continuously advocate for change, be agile in
her work, and look to grow the future of retail banking for Bethpage
Federal Credit Union.

We’re the Girl
Scouts of Nassau County: We’re 21,000 strong – more than 16,000
girls and 5,000 adults who believe in the power of every G.I.R.L.
(Go-getter, Innovator, Risk-taker, Leader)™ from Nassau County to
change the world. Our extraordinary journey began more than 100 years
ago with the original G.I.R.L., Juliette Gordon “Daisy” Low. On March
12, 1912, in Savannah, Georgia, she organized the very first Girl
Scout Troop, and every year since, we’ve honored her vision and
legacy, building girls of courage, confidence, and character who make
the world a better place. We’re the preeminent leadership development
organization for girls. And with programs in Nassau County, across
Long Island and throughout the United States and across the globe,
Girl Scouts offers every girl a chance to practice a lifetime of
leadership, adventure, and success.
