Don't just hear about camp... experience it.

What to Expect
If you've never been to Camp Blue Bay, this is the best way to get comfortable. Think of it as a "try before you buy" day for the whole family!

Meet the Experts: Our Camp Directors and friendly volunteers will be on-site. Whether you're worried about homesickness or curious about the menu, no question is too small.

Explore the Grounds: Take a self-guided tour. You can check out where the campers sleep, where they eat, and where the adventures happen.

Hands-On Workshops: This is the highlight! Sign up for a workshop to try a real camp activity. It's the best way to see if your Girl Scout is ready for the "Big Blue" life.

A Note for Families: Our workshops have limited capacity to make sure every girl gets a high-quality, hands-on experience. Because these spots fill up fast, we recommend RSVPing as soon as possible to secure your preferred activity.

Please note: Workshops have a $10 per family commitment fee.

Workshops

Color Me Campy (Tie-Dye)
10:30 - 11:15
Master the "spiral" or "bullseye" technique! Learn the chemistry of fiber-reactive dyes to create your own wearable camp souvenir.

The S'more Scientist
11:30 - 12:15
It's more than a snack-it's thermodynamics! Learn about heat transfer to achieve the perfect "Golden Toast" and the gooey molecular change of chocolate.

What floats your boat?
1:00 - 1:45
Use the STEM design process to build a miniature vessel out of recycled materials. Test it in our "test tank" to see how much "cargo" (pebbles) it can hold before it sinks!

Knot Your Average Girl Scout
2:00 - 2:45
From the "Square Knot" to the "Bowline," get your hands on some rope and learn essential hitches every camper needs for pitching tents, securing gear, and making bracelets.
