Feel a little nervous about camping? Not sure it's your "thing," but your troop is excited and would love to camp together in the summertime? Not to worry, we have the solution. Summer Adventures allows your troop to take advantage of the activities offered at summer camp, including swimming, boating, nature, arts & crafts, campfires, and more. We make it easy. Once registered, we will design a program specially for your troop. No need to worry about food; Tuesday breakfast, lunch, and dinner (walking tacos over the fire!), and Wednesday breakfast will be provided.
* Swimming and boating are based on swimming ability and
weather conditions.
Accommodations: This event is Tent
Units only; troops will be expected to share sites.
Who:
Open to all Girl Scouts of Nassau County Junior, Cadette, Senior, and
Ambassador troops. One adult needed for every eight Girl Scouts, no
training required. We ask that you limit the number of adults to allow
more Girl Scouts to attend. Limited to 40 people.
Cost:
$125 per person, $25 per person non-refundable deposit required to
register.
