Led by the Manager of Outreach Services from Cohen Children's Medical Center, learn how to prevent unsafe situations and what to do when faced with dangers like power failures or weather emergencies. Learn basic first aid and a system to help you assess and respond to injuries and illnesses. You'll leave with a Safe Sitter Student Handbook and a certificate of completion.
Important: This is a drop-off event. No
adults or tag-alongs are permitted in the program. A Fun patch, the
Safe Sitter Student Handbook and a certificate of completion is
included with the program fee.
A light breakfast of pastries will be provided. Please list any food allergies in the dietary restriction field. All registrants much bring their own bagged lunch. Cadettes will satisfy all steps to earn your Babysitting Badge. Badge can be purchased in the GSNC shop after completion of the course.
