From 10 AM-12 PM, Girl Scouts will learn basic rowing techniques,
water safety, and teamwork-both on land and in the water-guided by
experienced coaches. This session takes place at the Port Rowing
Boathouse, a vibrant waterfront training space where athletes launch
directly into beautiful Manhasset Bay. No prior rowing experience
needed, just come ready to learn, have fun, and try something
new!
Important: This is a drop-off event; however adults
are welcome to stay. A Fun Patch is included. Completes all badge
requirements for: Senior Paddling. Completes some badge requirements
for:
Cadette Good Sportsmanship, Senior Cross-Training, and
Ambassador Ultimate Recreation Challenge. All badges are available
for purchase at the GSNC shop.
