Join GSNC to celebrate NASA's International Observe The Moon Night
with the Jones Beach Energy & Nature Center. This event occurs
annually in October to unite people across the globe in a celebration
of lunar observation, science, and exploration. Girls will learn about
lunar science and exploration, participate in moon-related activities
and enjoy a viewing of the moon in it's first quarter.
Pick the correct session according to your Girl Scout level:
Daisy/Brownie - 6:00pm-7:30pm
Junior/Cadette -
7:30pm-9:00pm
Seniors/Ambassador - 9:00pm-10:30pm
Location: Jones Beach Nature Center
Important: All participants will receive a
goodie bag. Only paid registrants can participate in the program.
Parents are welcome to stay and enjoy the fun but are not required
too. Due to a portion of the event being outdoors, please dress
appropriately. Completes some of the badge requirements for: Daisy
Space Science Explorer, Brownie Space Science Adventure, Junior Space
Science Investigator, Cadette Space Science Researcher, Senior Space
Science Expert, and Ambassador Space Science Master which are
available for purchase in the GSNC shop.
