Volunteer Resource Center

Come visit the Volunteer Resource Center!

The Volunteer Resource Center (VRC) is the place that will help guide you, the Girl Scout Volunteer, along your Girl Scout journey. Together, we’ll plan amazing Troop meetings that will show girls that they can have fun and do amazing things that change the world, all at the same time.

The VRC has a great library of resources which include ideas for ceremonies, games, SWAPs, and crafts and is filled with tons of materials for loan that you can take back to your Troop meeting. Some of our materials include Leaf, Badge and Journey kits, Outdoor Resource Boxes, flags and ceremonial items, and so much more.

Are you looking for some guidance for your next Troop meeting, or maybe you need a specialist to bounce your exciting new ideas off of? Book an appointment or phone conference with our Volunteer Resource Center Manager, Cathy, by calling 516.741.2550 or emailing cicconec@gsnc.org. Walk-ins welcome, but please book an appointment if you need in-depth help with planning your meetings.

If you are a new Leader the three onboarding steps to Leadership below must be completed prior to booking an appointment with our Volunteer Resource Center Manager.

  1. Background check
  2. Welcome to Girl Scouts
  3. GSNC Getting Started With Your Troop
