What is Girls Go the Distance?
Girls Go the Distance is a walkathon and fund raiser that brings together families, Troops, community and local corporations to support GSNC’s Healthy Living Initiative.

Join us for a 2 mile walk, entertainment, activities and education - all centered around the Healthy Living theme! Girl Scouts can participate in fun activities that can help them learn about healthy choices, while our Girl Scout Alumnae and corporate teams can meet today's Girl Scouts, network with peers and be real-life role models for our girls!

How do I register to walk?

--Go to the Girls Go the Distance website.

--Simply click on “Register” and agree to the waiver.

You then have a few choices on how to register:
1) Start a team and then invite others to join your team at a later date.
2) Join an existing team. Make sure you know the name of the team you would like to join.

3) Register as a Troop/Family--this option creates one fund raising page for the whole team. Use this option if you are registering a Girl Scout Troop or a family with young children who should not have individual fund raising pages. In order to abide by GSUSA's Safteywise Guidelines, Girl Scout Troops must use this option to register for the event.

4) Join as an individual.

Once you register, start talking to your family and friends. They can join you in the walk or support you by going to your online fund raising page and making a donation.

Team Captains, download your Team Captain Handbook here!
