Welcome to Training
Girl Scouts of Nassau County offers many training opportunities
for adult volunteers. For volunteers working with girls the number one
reason for training is safety – making sure that girls are safe
from physical harm and learning what it means to provide a safe environment
where girls Discover, Connect and Take Action.
Trainings are designed to provide opportunities for volunteers
to enhance their leadership and organizational skills, to enrich interactions
with girls and, simply, to have more fun. Continuing Education Credits
are available through Long Island University, C.W. Post.
Training opportunities are organized into 4 categories:
Leadership, Outdoor, Governance and Specialty Trainings. Select a link
below to get started.
