Welcome to the world of Cadettes, Seniors & Ambassadors! By becoming a Volunteer, you have made the commitment to work with Teen Girl Scouts and make a difference in their lives and in their Girl Scout experience. Training is vital in working effectively with girls. It is the most important tip we can offer to new and returning Girl Scout leaders. We understand that Girl Scout leaders are usually juggling time and responsibilities. For that reason we are offering an online option for training.

In the pages that follow, you will be presented with program options for girls ages 11-17. One of our goals of this training is to provide you an understanding that there are many aspects of program options available for girls 11-17. In order to ensure that the girls are getting what they want and need from the Girl Scout program, girls must be presented with these options. The girls can do as many, or as little of them that they want to. They do not all have to do the same things, and they can do any combination of them. Please remember that you have many resources as a Girl Scout Leader. Talking to other leaders, service unit members, and council staff provide many answers and ideas for you. |
