Tribute Fund

Friendship treeThe Girl Scouts of Nassau County’s Tribute Fund is the perfect way to let someone know that you are thinking of them. For a donation of $25 or more, you can honor the memory of a loved one, celebrate the exceptional accomplishment of a special friend, the graduation or birthday of a family member or honor a special Girl Scout volunteer.

The person that you designate will receive a card announcing your thoughtful gift and your Tribute will appear in an upcoming issue of GirlFriends and the Tribute section of our website. At the same time you'll be making a lasting impact in the lives of over 18,000 Girl Scouts in Nassau County who are growing in courage, confidence and character and are making the world a better place every day. Click here for a copy of the Tribute Donation form.

Thank you to those who have made recent donations!

GSNC's Friendship Tree is a way to make a lasting tribute to honor a family member, friend, volunteer, or special event.  Each leaf is individually inscribed and placed on the tree according to the wishes of the donor. Visit the GSNC Service Center where our Friendship Tree is displayed. To start the process, simply fill out the Friendship Tree Request form.

For more information on purchasing a leaf, contact Ellen Palmisano, Grant & Research Evaluation Manager at or 516.741.2550 ext. 262.
