We would like to thank our honoree, Jim Adelis and all of our golfers, committee members and sponsors who made this event a success!

Thank you to Alure Home Improvements, Cook, Hall and Hyde, Inc., Cullen and Dykman, Little Brownie Bakers, QSP and Roslyn Savings Foundation for sponsoring the 25th Annual Go For the Green Golf Classic.

Proceeds from the golf outing are used to support the Girl Scouts of Nassau County’s Financial Assistance Program. The program works to eliminate financial barriers to Girl Scouts who wish to participate in all aspects of Scouting. Financial aid is available to girls in need to help them purchase uniforms, attend camp, travel, and participate in all Girl Scouting activities.

Camperships provide a joyful learning experience in a natural setting for deserving girls from diverse backgrounds, but for many, they provide the only chance for low-income girls to meet peers from outside their immediate community. Camperships are vital in helping girls to experience the fun and friendship of Girl Scouting, while developing the leadership skills they will need for the future.
