The year 2012 marks the exciting 100th anniversary of the founding of Girl Scouts of the USA, and plans are underway to celebrate this milestone on a large scale. In preparation for this celebration, GSNC has established a 100 Anniversary page where information regarding the anniversary will be posted. GSNC 100th Anniversary Patch Program
GSNC has designed a patch program in honor of Girl Scouting’s 100th Anniversary. In earning this patch, you will be doing what Juliette Low did and what millions of Girl Scouts have done since 1912! Spread the word about Girl Scouts, build your leadership skills, get outdoors, learn a skill, help others and have fun, too! This patch will be available for purchase in the Girl Shop through September 30, 2012. Download Patch Program and Evaluation (pdf)
Wish Upon a Star
Send us your wish for the next 100 years of Girl Scouting. Girls are asked to make an 8-point origami star, on which you have written your "wish". We will be installing them in an art exhibit at the GSNC Service Center and they will be on display during Girl Scout Week (March 11-17, 2012). Get the flyer with more information and instructions. Stars must be dropped off at Council by Monday, February 27th.
Girl Scouts of Nassau County's 100th Anniversary Gala

Trips for GSNC
Join Girl Scouts of Nassau County at the Rock the Mall 100th Anniversary Sing-Along in Washington, DC on Saturday, June 9th, 2012.
