THE GIRL SCOUTS OF NASSAU COUNTY CHORUS TO APPEAR AT SUFFOLK WINTER WONDERLAND


Garden City, NY December 3, 2007 –What better way to spend an evening with your family this holiday season than to take a drive through the Winter Wonderland in Bayport, sponsored by the Girl Scouts of Suffolk County, and see a special performance of the Girls Scouts of Nassau County Chorus.  They are featured performers on Friday December 14th and Saturday December 15th from 7:00pm to 8:00pm.

“We are so excited that our sisters at the Girl Scouts of Suffolk County have asked us to join them in celebrating the holiday this year,” said Donna Ceravolo, Executive Director of the Girl Scouts of Nassau County.   “It’s extra special to get to share in the festivities with the GSSC and we know the girls will sound spectacular!”

The Winter Wonderland Light Show and Festival is Suffolk County's largest, brightest and only 3-D Holiday Light Show, celebrating its fourth spectacular year in bringing the sights and sounds of the season to Long Island Families. For more information about the event please visit www.gssc.us.

The Girl Scouts of Nassau County Chorus was formed in 1988. The Chorus is currently comprised of 50 members who travel throughout Nassau County and the surrounding metropolitan area. The girls in the chorus range in Girl Scout age levels from Brownies to Senior Girl Scouts. Their repertoire includes Girl Scout songs, patriotic numbers, holiday melodies and American standards. They are available all year long for a variety of different events!
