The Girl Scouts of Nassau County Chorus was formed in 1988. The Chorus is currently comprised of 50 members who travel throughout Nassau County and the surrounding metropolitan area. The girls in the chorus range in Girl Scout age levels from Brownies to Senior Girl Scouts. Their repertoire includes Girl Scout songs, patriotic numbers, holiday melodies and American standards. They are available all year long for a variety of different events!
The Girl Scouts of Nassau County Chorus is featured singing “True Colors” in the background of the Dove Campaign for Real Beauty commercial that debuted on 2006 Super Bowl Sunday. They have performed in Manhattan at the Gracie Awards honoring Women in Radio and Television, and each year they appear at numerous sporting events and civic gatherings, as well as at Girl Scout events.
Girl Scouts of Nassau County builds girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place. With 22,000 girl and 7,000 adult members, Girl Scouts of Nassau County has become the preeminent organization and leading authority for girls.
