Garden City, NY August 29, 2007 – Everyone made a difference on August 13th at the Girl Scouts of Nassau County’s 23rd annual “Go for the Green” Golf Classic. The Outing, held at the Mill River Club in Upper Brookville raised more than $100,000 making it possible for the more than 22,000 Girl Scouts in Nassau County to experience the fun and sisterhood of Girl Scouting.

“We want to extend our gratitude to all of our golfers, sponsors and supporters, especially Chris Giamo of Commerce Bank, who came out for a beautiful day of golf in support of our organization,” said Donna Ceravolo, Executive Director, Girl Scouts of Nassau County. "Because of your generosity and dedication we will be able to continue our mission to build girls of courage, confidence and character, who make the world a better place."
