GIRL SCOUTS COOKIE BOOTHS ARE BACK!
Garden City, NY January 23, 2008 – Craving a sweet snack in the middle of your workday? Girl Scouts of Nassau County are selling their famous Cookies in offices, hospitals, railroad stations, grocery stores and even malls from Monday to Friday, February 9th through the end of March. Stop by and pick up a box of your favorites. And if you can’t make it to the booths, don’t worry. Girl Scouts are selling their cookies through March 15th!
“The Girl Scout Cookie program continues to be the world’s largest business and economic literacy program,” said Donna Ceravolo, Executive Director of the Girl Scouts of Nassau County. “The Cookie Program teaches girls many vital skills they can carry with them on their path to success.”
The Girl Scout Cookie program teaches girls important lessons in business, math, organization, sales, money management, negotiation, responsibility and most importantly, self-confidence. The Cookie Program also teaches girls to appreciate and take pride in the work that they've accomplished for themselves and for Girl Scouts.
