“Make A Difference Day was very special and the Girl Scouts of Nassau County were honored to be a part of it,” said Donna Ceravolo, Executive Director, Girl Scouts of Nassau County.  “The compassion and hard work each girl demonstrated with her efforts truly captured the mission of building strong girls of courage, confidence and character who make the world a better place.”

Girl Scouts of Nassau County in collaboration with Island Harvest and their other partners, Residential Life Social Service Committee and Phi Sigma Sigma Sorority of Hofstra University, and the Nesconset Christian Church collected food to feed the hungry.
