CELEBRATE WHAT WE'RE ALL ABOUT AT "GIRLFEST" 2008
Garden City, NY July 16, 2008- Girls just want to have fun! The Girl Scouts of Nassau County will hold “GIRLFEST” on September 21, 2008 from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Broadway Mall! Girls ages 5-17 are invited to spend the afternoon exploring what it means to be a Girl Scout!
“GIRLFEST is a great way to bring together girls of all ages and discover what makes them want to join our organization and see how we can affect their lives,” said Donna Ceravolo, Executive Director of the Girl Scouts of Nassau County. “We know that making a difference starts here with getting to know what our girls are all about!”
Girls get the chance to preview the Fall Products and learn information on the new Leadership Development Program for girls. They also will have the opportunity to participate in fun and educational activities and workshops such as, healthy living activities, science discovery, making a beaded bangle bracelet or sand art, sing-along, face painting and much more.

The cost per girl is $5.00 for Girl Scouts and $10.00 for non-members.
