GIRL SCOUTS OF NASSAU COUNTY TO SPONSOR BLOOD DRIVE


Garden City, NY June 27, 2006 - Roll up your sleeve and give blood at the Girl Scouts of Nassau County Blood Drive on Tuesday, July 18th from 10:30 am to 3:30 pm at Roosevelt Field in Garden City.

"There is a major blood shortage in our area," said Donna Ceravolo, Executive Director, Girl Scouts of Nassau County.  "Girls Scouts is providing this forum for all members of our community to give back."

This is the second blood drive Girl Scouts of Nassau County will sponsor this year. To register ahead of time, please visit their website at www.gsnc.org  or call 516-741-2550 ext. 226. Girls Scouts will try to accommodate everyone as best they can.
