WESTBURY RESIDENT ELECTED TO GIRL SCOUTS OF NASSAU COUNTY BOARD

Garden City, NY June 11, 2008 – All Eric Rogers’ hard work and dedication to the community has paid off! Mr. Rogers, a resident of Westbury, was elected to serve his second term as Member-at-Large of the Board of Directors of the Girl Scouts of Nassau County, Inc. The election took place during the 43rd Annual Meeting held at Hofstra University Student Center Theatre on May 7th. Mr. Rogers joins other Board Members in their mission to provide leadership and fresh and creative direction to the Council.
 
“We are so pleased that Eric will be serving on our Board,” said Sandra Echols Williams, President of the Girl Scouts of Nassau County Board of Directors.“ Eric will surely bring many positive attributes to our Board.”
 
Mr. Rogers donates his time to many causes throughout the community. He serves on the Carle Place School Board, Sage Software Alumni Association Board and has been a member of the New York State Society of CPAs for more than 20 years. Mr. Rogers is President of Rogers & Company, a CPA and technology firm specializing in not-for-profit clients. His entire family is committed to the Girl Scouts of Nassau County. His wife and eldest daughter are both troop leaders and his two youngest daughters are Girl Scouts in the Carle Place/Westbury Association.
