"Dues alone can not support all of the opportunities we want to offer our girls like whitewater rafting, self-defense lessons, car-care classes and stimulating science explorations," said Donna Ceravolo, Executive Director, Girl Scouts of Nassau County. "We need additional support in order to continue to provide services to our more than 22,000 Girl Scouts in Nassau County ."
 
Although Girl Scouting has changed over the years, many of its traditions and core values of honesty and good citizenship remain the same. Girl Scouts provides girls with a safe, nurturing environment where they can learn and grow together into strong, confident and independent women.
