"GO FOR THE GREEN" AT THE GIRL SCOUTS OF NASSAU COUNTY'S GOLF CLASSIC

Garden City, NY April 30, 2007- Want to help an organization dedicated to the empowerment of every girl everywhere? Join the Girl Scouts of Nassau County for the 23rd annual "Go for the Green" Golf Classic. The Outing will be held on Monday, August 13th at the Mill River Club in Upper Brookville . Proceeds from the event make it possible for the more than 22,000 Girl Scouts in Nassau County to experience the fun and sisterhood of Girl Scouting.
Chris Giamo, Market President of Commerce Bank will be honored during the reception for his continued support for Girl Scouts and the community at large.
"The "Go for the Green" Golf Classic is one of our most important fundraisers," said Donna Ceravolo, Executive Director, Girl Scouts of Nassau County. "Proceeds from this event help continue our mission of building girls of courage, confidence and character through our educational, innovative and fun programming."
Attendees will play 18 holes of golf on one of Long Island 's most highly esteemed golf courses, eat from an elaborate brunch buffet, enjoy an on-course lunch overlooking the green and finish the day at our awards dinner. Attendees will also have the chance to win tons of great gifts from raffles prizes, silent auction items, and hole-in-one prizes.
