GIRL SCOUTS OF NASSAU COUNTY OFFERS TREATS FOR THE HOLIDAYS
Garden City, NY October 6, 2008—Why pay for one gift when you can buy two gifts for the price of one! This holiday season, the Girl Scouts of Nassau County offers its Fall Products Program designed to take the worry out of gift giving. Not only, will the gift recipient be delighted by these tasty treats and discounted magazine subscriptions, you’ll be happy to know by purchasing your gift, you’ve also given a gift to Girl Scouts that will help them continue to build girls of courage, confidence and character!
“Our Fall Products Program offers a wide variety of fun gifts suitable for business clients, co-workers, family or friends,” says Donna Ceravolo, Executive Director, Girl Scouts of Nassau County. “Programs like this directly help fund activities for our girls and we’re sure our product line has something for everyone to enjoy and feel good about giving.”
The Girl Scouts of Nassau County Fall Products Program offers four gift baskets featuring their world-famous Girl Scout Cookies. The gift basket, “Cookies and Candy and Nuts Oh My!” comes with all the Girl Scout Cookie favorites – Thin Mints, Trefoils and Samoas as well as Chocolate Covered Pretzels, Honey Roasted Peanuts and Gummi Bears. The “A Sweet Treat” basket features a mixture of nuts and candy from the Fall Products Program line. The “Tower of Cookies” includes the entire Girl Scout Cookie line from Tagalongs to Do-si-dos to the newest Cookie, Sugar-Free Chocolate Chips. The fourth basket is the, “Take a Thin Mint Break” featuring a commemorative Girl Scout Cookie mug, two boxes of Thin Mints and a sampling of Mint Meltaways. Girl Scouts throughout Nassau County will also be selling each individual product used to make the gift baskets and more. Besides these tasty treats, the Fall Products Program also allows the purchaser to renew (or order) their favorite magazines for lower prices than found elsewhere. By ordering through the Girl Scouts of Nassau County, troops receive 10% for each subscription sold and candy or nut purchase, as well as personal recognitions such as patches, stuffed animals, and cd’s.
