Girl Scouts of Nassau County provides girls with a wide variety of educational programs to further enrich their lives. Girls have the opportunity to participate in numerous activities that peak their interest in art, science, math, entrepreneurship, healthy living and much more. In addition, there are innumerable opportunities to participate in artistic or cultural activities that demonstrate healthy forms of self-expression.
“We look forward to reaching girls across Nassau County to make a positive difference in their lives and encourage parents to contact us and let us help their daughters gain the self-confidence and skills to take with them out into the world,” says Ms. Ceravolo.
Girl Scouts of Nassau County builds girls of courage, confidence and character. Girl Scouting in Nassau County creates an accepting and nurturing environment, which gives girls a chance to build character and receive skills for success in the real world. In partnership with committed adult volunteers, girls develop qualities that will serve them throughout their lives, like leadership, strong values, social conscience, and conviction about their own potential and self-worth. With more than 22,000 girl and 7,000 adult members, Girl Scouts of Nassau County has become the preeminent organization and leading authority for girls.
