GIRL SCOUT COOKIES GO GOURMET

Garden City, NY April 6, 2009 – Ever find yourself craving your favorite Girl Scout Cookie® for dessert after eating at your town’s local hot spot? You’re in luck! Thanks to the Girl Scouts of Nassau County, local restaurants like Page One Restaurant, Laguna Grille, Piccola Bussola, Eleanor’s Rigby’s, Copperfield’s, Gooseberry Grove and City Cellar have added Girl Scout Cookies® to spruce up their dessert menus this Cookie season.

The Nassau County restaurants purchased the Cookies in support of the Girl Scouts of Nassau County and will use the classic Cookie to create gourmet tasty treats.

“We’re really excited that these restaurants decided to offer our delicious Girl Scout Cookies® as a yummy way for their patrons to finish a meal,” said Donna Ceravolo, Executive Director of the Girl Scouts of Nassau County. “All the Cookies purchased through this opportunity will help ensure that any girl who wants to be a Girl Scout, will never be turned away from our organization due to lacks of funds.”
