GLEN COVE RESIDENT ELECTED TO GIRL SCOUTS OF NASSAU COUNTY COUNCIL NOMINATING COMMITTEE
Garden City, NY May 29, 2010 – Debra Ieraci, a resident of Glen Cove, has further dedicated her time to supporting, helping and mentoring future generations of women leaders! Debra was elected to the as a member of the Council Nominating Committee of the Girl Scouts of Nassau County, Inc. as a member of the Council Nominating Committee on May 24th at the 45th Annual Meeting held at Adelphi University Ruth S. Harley University Center. Debra joins other as a member of the Council Nominating Committee in their mission to provide leadership and innovative direction to the Girl Scouts of Nassau County Council.
“Debra will be a crucial member of the Council Nominating Committee,” said Diane M. McFarlane, Esq., President of the Girl Scouts of Nassau County Board of Directors. “With Debra now serving our Board, we are positive she will help us to continue our mission of building girls of courage, confidence and character who make the world a better place.”
Debra Ieraci has been a member of the Board of Directors for 12 years, Debra is happy to be returning to serve the girls of Girl Scouts of Nassau County. A former National Delegate and past member of the Council Nominating Committee, she served for several years as Chair of the Delegate Communications Committee. Debra is employed as a Field Collector with National Grid and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from SUNY Old Westbury. She is a member of the Gold Award Alliance and a Girl Scout Leader in the Glen Cove Association.
