Celebrate and Support Camp Blue Bay's 65th Anniversary!

Garden City, NY May 17, 2012 - 2012 marks the 65th Birthday of Girl Scouts of Nassau County’s Camp Blue Bay. To honor the 65th Birthday of Camp Blue Bay, Girl Scouts of Nassau County has started the Anniversary Brick Campaign and will also host the Camp Blue Bay 65th Anniversary weekend on September 21st to 23rd.

“The Anniversary Brick Campaign is a great way for all Girl Scouts, past or present, girl or volunteer, to leave a mark on a camp where they made fond memories, or as place that impacted their family and friends,” said Donna Ceravolo, Executive Director of the Girl Scouts of Nassau County.

Leave your personalized mark on Camp Blue Bay! Purchase a brick to honor your Troop or Troop leader, memorialize a loved one, recognize a special accomplishment, celebrate the 65th Anniversary or share a camp memory. Your personalized brick will become part of a border and pathway that will surround the flagpole at Camp Blue Bay’s Dining Hall.

Bricks each measure 4” x 8” and can accommodate 3 lines of text. Each line can contain up to 13 characters (including spaces). The cost per brick is $65 – to celebrate 65 years of Camp Blue Bay. Anniversary Brick Orders must be placed by July 30th.

Join Girl Scouts of Nassau County as they celebrate the 65th anniversary of the beautiful Camp Blue Bay located in East Hampton, NY at a fun filled birthday celebration, which will include the unveiling of the new brick pathway at the flagpole.

For more information or to purchase your commemorative brick contact Laura Bissett-Carr at or 516.741.2550 ext. 233.
