REGISTRATION OPEN FOR GSNC’S ‘GO FOR THE GREEN’ GOLF OUTING
Garden City, NY July 27, 2009—For the 25th year running, the Girl Scouts of Nassau County (GSNC) will host its Annual ‘Go for the Green’ Golf Classic on Monday, August 10th at North Hempstead County Club in Port Washington, NY. Registration is now open!
“The wait is over and golf season is in full swing! We are very excited to join our supporters for a fun day out on the links,” said Donna Ceravolo, Executive Director of the Girl Scouts of Nassau County, Inc. “Proceeds from the event support our Financial Assistance Program which makes Girl Scouting available to any girl regardless of her ability to pay.”
Registration and brunch for the outing begin at 10:00 a.m. The official shotgun time is at 12:00 p.m. After the golf portion of the outing, GSNC will host a cocktail reception and guests will have the opportunity to win a variety of raffle prizes.
Jim Adelis, President of Adelis International Security will be honored during the reception for his involvement with the Girl Scouts of Nassau County Operation Cookie Program and for supporting the community at large.
