Girl Scouts of Nassau County

Internet Safety & Service Mark Guidelines

A booklet has been developed and designed by GSNC Staff with a grant from Verizon.

This booklet includes information that was previously provided in the Surfing the Internet Safely booklet plus a new section on Guidelines for designing your own Troop/Group/Association web site.

Girl Scouts of Nassau County supports and promotes the use of the Internet and stresses the importance of safety on the Internet for girl and adults.

All adults and girls are strongly encouraged to follow Girl Scouts of Nassau County's Guidelines for use of the "Pledge" as written in Girl Scouts of the USA's Safety Wise under the section "Tripping in Cyberspace".

Please email us at webemail@gsnc.org for additional copies of the
" A Guide to Internet Safety and Design" booklet or call (516) 741-2550 x260.

If you, your Troop/Group or your Association is creating a Web Page or has a Web Page that contains any information about Girl Scouting, please tell us about it!  We want to share it with others and provide you with helpful information for your Web Page.

Please complete the following form and we will send you the information via email.
