Safety & Service Mark Guidelines
A
booklet has been developed and designed by GSNC Staff with a grant from Verizon.

This booklet includes information that was previously provided in the Surfing
the Internet Safely booklet plus a new section on Guidelines
for designing your own Troop/Group/Association web site.
Girl
Scouts of Nassau County supports and promotes the use of the Internet and
stresses the importance of safety on the Internet for girl and adults.
All adults and girls are strongly encouraged to follow Girl
Scouts of Nassau County's Guidelines for use of the "Pledge" as written in Girl Scouts
of the USA's Safety Wise under the section "Tripping in Cyberspace".

you, your Troop/Group or your Association is creating a Web Page or has a Web
Page that contains any information about Girl Scouting, please tell us about
it! We want to share it with others and provide you with helpful information
for your Web Page.

If the Girl Scout Service Mark is to be used on the Web
Page, our Council will provide you with the graphic.
Please complete the following form and we will send you the information
via email.
After submitting the form above your web page will be reviewed
and the Service Mark graphic and the GSNC Golden Seal of Approval
Award graphic will be sent to you via email so you may place them
on your web page.
