Top Cookie Sellers

Top Cookie Sellers for 2010!

10 girls sold over 1,000 boxes of Girl Scout Cookies this year. The top seller this year was Tara from Troop 704 with 1,922 boxes. Congratulations to all of the girls. When asked how they sold so many boxes of Cookies, all of the girls credited the support that they received from their family and friends. Every girl mentioned that they told every person that they knew that they were selling Girl Scout Cookies, including their teachers, friends, coaches, neighbors, family, friends of the family - EVERYONE!!

It's Time to Get Down to Business with our Cookie Survey Results!!

COOKIE SURVEY RESULTS

Almost 450 girls took our Cookie survey this year. 68% of the 450 respondents participated in this year's Cookie Program. 66% were excited to participate; 91% of your parents helped you sell Cookies; and 63% sold Cookies to help your Troop pay for a special trip or event.

We wanted to have more insight into how you felt about the incentive prizes and rebates that we offered this year. It seems that 22% of our respondents didn't care for any of the prizes, 18% liked the movie tickets and 14% wanted the Tie Dye Tote bag.

Not everyone knew about our 100 Box Challenge; only 21% of our respondents heard of it. The rebate incentive for the 100 Box Challenge was an extra 2 cents per box for your Troop and only 5% thought that it was enticing enough to work a little harder to make that goal. Over 30% thought that the incentive should be an extra 5 cents per box and 24% thought that we should offer an invitation to a party for girls who made the goal.

While 38% of our respondents did plan in advance what they would do with their Cookie rebate money, 23% just sold Cookies and decided later what they would use their money for. 50% of the girls said that their Troop did Cookie Booth sales this year, around 44% participated in the Booth sale and 47% said that their Troop had an Operation Cookie donation box

.

Thank-you to everyone who participated in the survey, you have given us helpful insight into what makes the Cookie Program fun and exciting for you. You will be seeing some changes for 2011 that will reflect the feedback that we received.
