What if I am New to Girl Scouts and Have Never Sold Girl Scout Cookies® Before?

If this is your first time with the Girl Scout Cookie Program you might want to start by checking out the great tips at Little Brownie Bakers website. Another great resource is the Cookiemoms.com website. It's a great forum for Troop Cookie Managers to hear from other volunteers.

What are Cookie Credits?

In addition to earning money for their Troop and incentive prizes, girls earn $75 in Cookie Credits for selling 300 boxes of GS Cookies. Sisters can combine sales to make it to the 300 box level. Even if the Troop has voted to forgo the incentive prizes (they get an additional 5 cents per box in lieu of prizes) girls still receive Cookie Credits. They can be used for Camp, GS Shop purchases, annual GS registration fee, Troop events/trips and Council sponsored events/trips.

What if I have Cookie Credits?

Don't let your Cookie Credits expire, use them to register for any Girl Scout Program. To cash in your Cookie Credits, fill out the Cookie Credit Redemption Form and return it to the Girl Scouts of Nassau County service center. If it's a Council run event, the credits will be applied directly, if it's a Possibilities or other Troop Trip, a check will be mailed to the Troop Leader. If you have any questions, please contact Cynthia Garrett.

What if I eat Kosher?

You're in luck! Girl Scout Cookies® are Kosher. Click here for our certification.
