It's Oktoberfest 2012 - the perfect Girl Scout learning environment for Girl Scout Ambassadors and Girl Scout Adult Volunteers. Beach Cleanup at Garvies Point

Garvies Point Museum and Preserve will be hosting the International Coastal Cleanup on Saturday, September 22nd from 10 am - 12 noon. After the cleanup, stay for a FREE live animal program hosted by North Shore Audubon Society. Open to all ages.

Girls grades 9 and up are also needed to direct/instruct the cleanup volunteers. Contact Veronica Natale.

What Can a Girl Do?

She can help her Troop Earn Funds early in the Year through the Mags&Munchies Program!

Get entertaining activities that promote an understanding of supply chain management (where stuff comes from and how it gets to us), money handling, & how to deal with customers.

Did you know that with a little supervision from a parent, girls can set up their own, real online business for the Magazine portion of this Program that will benefit their Troop and count towards the girl reward program? Getting Started as a Troop Leader

Are you a new Troop Leader? After you get your required training, you can add "Getting Started With Your Troop" in either the online version or, sign up to take the training in person . Get some practical tips to get you off to a great start.

Anti-Bullying Event

On Friday, October 19th from 6:45-9:00pm, 15 year-old Jamie Isaacs will speak about her intense bullying experiences, followed by a panel discussion. Open to all 6th-12th graders and adults, non-Girl Scouts are welcome. Click for more information and to register.
