GIRLFEST 2009- It's your planet-Love It!

2009 GIRLFEST COUNTDOWN!

GIRLFEST is back, and it will be more fun than ever. With dozens of activities to choose from, ranging from arts & crafts to science, to fitness, to badge activities, your troop will have an afternoon full of fun, things to learn and do, and friends to meet.

Date & Time: Sunday, October 4, 2009 Noon to 4 pm
Place: Broadway Mall, Hicksville

Cost: $ 5 per girl in advance, $10 at the door
Adults Attend for FREE!!

What do you enjoy about Girl Scouts? It will all be there at GIRLFEST!

Our first GIRLFEST in September 2008 brought more than 1,000 Girl Scouts together at Broadway Mall - and we're doing it again in 2009! Come kick off the new Girl Scout year with Girl Scouts of Nassau County!

All Girl Scouts ages 5 through 17 are invited to spend the afternoon exploring what it means to be a Girl Scout. Get a chance to preview the Fall Products and some information on the latest and greatest for Girl Scouts. Hey, it's your event, you decide what it's all about!

Troop Activity Tables

* Troops may provide entertainment, teach a song or game, or do simple, hands-on activities that will help other girls learn and have fun.
* Girls can earn leadership hours by planning and running their activity table. Here's a partial list of what Troops did last year:
