Trip Application

A Trip Application is required for each activity held beyond the troop meeting place. This includes troop attendance at Association and Council-Wide events. A Trip Application is necessary to ensure that the activity is consistent with GSNC's Policies, Standards and Guidelines, and with Girl Scout Program Standards described in Safety-Wise and Updates. Girl Scout insurance is in effect only for activities that meet these requirements. This form should be filled out at least two weeks prior to the trip or event.  Trip Applications for Extended Trips (3 sleepover nights or more) require the purchase of additional insurance through Council, and must be submitted one month prior to departure.

Instructions:

  • Review Safety-Wise and Updates before completing the form.
  • Fill out those parts applicable to the activity which your troop has planned.  Required fields are marked with a star *
  • When you press the "Submit" button, the information will be sent to Council and your Association Trip Application Recipient. A SUMMARY of your responses will appear.
  • PRINT OR SAVE A COPY OF THE SUMMARY FOR YOUR RECORDS.   Please check the SUMMARY for errors and resubmit the Trip Application if necessary.
  • If the Trip Application is not approved or there is a questionable entry, you will be contacted by Council or your Association.

This online form is processed by staff in the Service Center.  DO NOT send a paper copy to Girl Scouts of Nassau County.
